The m misery of menstruation remains and untold story in some remote areas in Cameroon. Many cannot afford material to manage their menstruation with dignity. Many girls absent schools, miss Classe for up to 5 day in month, early child pregnancy is really rampant. I have learned and I am sewing reusable pads for girls in the Indigenous areas of Cameroon and the displaced families in need due to the ongoing crisis. Read more
2May 28 Menstrual Day 2017 in Bome
Proving Disposal pads during our MHM campaign last 2017 was a huge task. We had many open question of the affordability of these pad after the campaign. Because of that I decided to learn how to produce cloth pads (Washable and reusable Pads) to support these girls. Two months latter I spent my afternoons besides a sewing machines, cutting, patching up and finally came up with something i could share back with communities. the Team in Cameroon organised a training cession where we could use the social Media to communicate. It was a huge success.
32017 MHM in Mbengwi and Bome Village
Health as defined by the World Health Organisation (WHO) is a state of complete physical mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease. During our visits around different school in the Momo Division in Cameroon we came across a few cases which were not bad but needed to be addressed or talked about. The first was basic Hygiene especially the girl child. Most disturbing was the fact that many girls could not take part in some of the activities due to menarche . As a result of this we decided to lunch our first camping on Menstrual Hygiene Management in Mbengwi. Our points of focus;-Improve Menstrual Health Awareness and Management. Here the girls will gain the basic knowledge before, during, and after Menstruation, support them to effectively managing menstruation thus reducing the high rate of unwanted pregnancy.

5supporting knowledge transfer between students and the classroom
The digital world remains a very exciting adventure for everyone especially for student when they can transfer and carry on their work load simply, upload Data and ease the exchange of Informations. Thanks to the wonderful gesture made by the Spitex Region Köniz, Bern- Switzerland. The donations of the Nexus (Pocket PC) to facilitate transfer of data amongst students.
6Soap production in Acha-Tugi 2018
Thanks to our partner Mrs Sally Marforchi we cold many women in the remote areas of ACha-Tugi could learn how to produce soap. IT also serve today as a complementary parket to our washable pads during distribution... see pictures
